UICO's Antimicrobial Touch Screen Glass

Our use of antimicrobial touch screen glass helps prevent the spread of germs while using UICO technology. Our touchscreen with antimicrobial glass has a 99% sanitation rate, meaning 99% of bacteria is destroyed within 24 hours in comparison to standard glass solutions, it decreases the risk of contracting or spreading germs.

What differentiates our antimicrobial glass and allows for the destruction of bacteria is the inclusion of a silver ion coating. It works to break the bacterial cell wall, aiming to kill the bacteria before it has time to spread. Unlike coatings that wear away, the efficacy of this solution lasts over time and is validated by SGS labs.

And with the inclusion of destroying germs before they have the time to spread, our antimicrobial glass still continues to be extremely durable and scratch-resistant. Combining the durable & tough glass with that of the outermost layer of alkali-aluminosilicate thin sheet glass formulated with an antimicrobial agent to help keep the glass surface clean creates a dependable surface that kills germs.
