Charlie Rothstein
Beringea
Charles “Charlie” Rothstein is founder and senior managing director of Beringea, a non-controlling growth capital investment firm with offices in Detroit, London and Manchester (UK). He is responsible for all Firm activities and directly oversees Beringea’s U.S.-based Funds, which invest in exceptional high growth, high potential businesses in Michigan and the Midwest.
Charlie graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.B.A. and an MBA. A lifelong Metro Detroit resident, Charlie and his wife Diana enjoy travelling to visit their four adult children in New York and London. He’s an avid four-seasons runner and accomplished golf and tennis player, part of his meaningful commitment to health and wellness.

Douglas Monieson
CEO & Executive Chairman
As CEO of UICO and Chairman of UICO's Board of Directors, Doug drives the company's core strategy, culture, and growth. Douglas Monieson is one of the original investors in UICO and has served on the Board of Directors since 2013. As Executive Chairman of UICO, Doug guides the strategy for partnership development and critical customer acquisition. Doug is Chairman Emeritus of Hyde Park Angels, the largest and most active angel investment group in the Midwest. He works closely with a number of Chicago startups both as an investor, advisor and board member. Doug serves on the Board of Trustees of Illinois Institute of Technology and is an Entrepreneur in Residence at University of Chicago.

Kevin Terassi
Plymouth Ventures
Kevin is a partner at Plymouth Ventures Group, based out of Ann Arbor,MI. An engineer by trade, Kevin has over 20 years of experience in management positions throughout technical, operational, and business development areas. He utilizes this deep experience to bring value-add to Plymouth’s portfolio companies and is a great example of how Plymouth partners with its management teams as they grow their respective businesses.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University.

William Lee
Bill Lee is a co-founder of UICO. He has extensive experience in executive leadership roles. Bill has led the largest, employee-owned new product development consultancy, and founded two companies: an innovation strategy and design development firm, and a user-interface electronics manufacturing company.
